Selma McCurvin
Ms. McCurvin began her career in the banking industry in 1973 with Signet Bank of Maryland where she worked for over 15 years in the Accounting Department, ultimately attaining a managerial position. In 1992, Ms. McCurvin entered the political arena in the Maryland General Assembly as the administrative assistant to Frank D. Boston the Third’s father, Delegate Frank D. Boston, Jr., Chairman of the Baltimore City Delegation to the Maryland House for Delegates.
As an administrative assistant, Ms. McCurvin managed Delegate Boston’s legislative agenda and calendar, planned the budget, and corresponded with constituents. In 2001, Ms. McCurvin joined the Law Offices of Frank D. Boston, III as Mr. Boston’s legislative assistant. Ms. McCurvin oversees the legislative scheduling and communicates with clients and elected officials alike.
Currently Ms. McCurvin is the office co-manager, handling the day-to-day affairs of the office along with her legislative responsibilities. Clients appreciate Ms. McCurvin’s down-to-earth personality and kindhearted nature, and her experience in Annapolis has enabled her to develop a unique rapport with elected officials and their support staff.
